Bronx Zoo House of Ophidiophobia
An adolescent Egyptian cobra has missing from an off-exhibit enclosure at the Bronx Zoo since last Friday. The Reptile House is closed and the snake’s recapture is expected to take weeks. On Monday the snake began taunting its captors on Twitter. “Holding very still in the snake exhibit at the Museum of Natural History. This is gonna be hilarious!” The Bronx Zookeeper is now also on Twitter. No Bronx Mongoose or Cleopatra, yet.
